Hello!

Hope your Thanksgiving was awesome! It's always so fun to get together with family!

Over the course of the 4 days off I had I started working on adding a new item to our inventory for our boutique! This picture is a great example of the adorable new items I'm adding to Tini Tot! Our Itzy Sitzy's are so cool! We will have 40 different types of colors and patterns. They are all reversible to a solid color. Our sitzy's have little pockets for little things! They are so cute you'll have to try one for your Tini Tot! I should have full inventory on Tini Tot.com within the next 7 days.

I have greatly enjoyed branching out and linking with some great boutiques! The owners have proved to be awesome women who are gracious and very helpful! One of my favorite so far is Stuff a Pal. This is a great place to customize a favorite stuffed animal and get great little outfits to personalize your choice! Stuff a Pal has all types of animals to choose from and the clothes are so cute! The variety is large so make sure you make the perfect Pal!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hello everybody! Tomorrow is the big day it's finally here! I love this time of the year. There's so many great little things you can do to decorate your home for guests. Just don't let these little things overwhelm you!

I ran into a beautiful idea for some candlestick holders. They are so easy to make and they will give your table a wonderful touch! Get creative with your carve designs!

Apple Candlesticks

This unusual table centerpiece is ephemeral -- but it's beautiful while it lasts.

MATERIALS:
Large Rome Beauty apples (that will stand straight on the table)
Candles
Waxed paper
Potato peeler
Lemon juice
Time needed: Under 1 Hour

1. Using an apple corer, make a hole about halfway through the middle of an apple. Make the hole as straight as possible and remove the core piece. 2. Insert a candle into the hole. It should fit tightly; if the hole is too large, wrap waxed paper around the candle's end. 3. Older kids can decorate the apples by carefully carving designs in the skins with the tip of a potato peeler (to prevent the designs from turning brown, rub them with lemon juice). 4. Arrange the candleholders in a circle on a plate or cutting board.

Are you in need of a quick classicly beautiful centerpiece? Here's an easy one.
Go outside and take a breath of fresh air, gather any sticks or twigs, some beautifully colored leaves, a bowl, and some cranberries. If you have pine cones add those to! Set your candle in the center of the bowl and arrange all your outside goodies around the candle. There it is instant tasteful natural festive centerpiece!

I will be posting shortly about the blogs I mentioned below. I apologize for the delay, but I'm sure it's understood since it is Thanksgiving!!! I will have the next 4 days off from my day job. I'll be able to get a lot done so be sure to check back!!!! Be safe and have a wonderful day!!!!!

What an exciting week this has been! I have managed to find an awesome networking group of fantastic women! I have added quite a few new links to our Tini Blog for you to check out. They will also make their way to my boutique in a few short days. It's been kinda hard for me to keep up, but I'm dedicating every last spare minute to my blog, research, and my boutique web page! I really want to thank all of the wonderful women who have reached out to give me a warm welcome! I've really enjoyed going through all of your blogs and learning about you and your families, everyone is so talented! Thank you for your support, it will definately be returned!

I am looking forward to spending some time in the next couple of days featuring my fellow baby boutiques!
Tini Tot is expanding by adding a beautiful new line of organic clothing! We are so excited to introduce the Baby Bambu line. It is absolutely beautiful organic clothing that is absolutely chic and perfect! We will have it available to you by the beginning of December! This line will make a perfect addition to all of our Itzy Ritzy products that are made from baby bamboo.
Thanks for visiting and you can expect a post in a couple of days! Until then I'm reading about you!

Pilgram Hat Treats

I'm always looking for great simple little recipes that make the holiday special. It's always wonderful when you can bring your kids into the kitchen to help make treats for the family. It gives them great pride and a sense accomplishment! Watch them smile and have fun! Here's a wonderful idea that adds a perfect Thanksgiving touch to any table. Who doesn't love marshmallows and chocolate? Enjoy!

RECIPE INGREDIENTS:
24 chocolate-striped shortbread cookies
12-ounce package of chocolate chips
24 marshmallows
1 tube of yellow decorators' frosting

1. Set the chocolate-striped cookies stripes down on a wax-paper-covered tray, spacing them well apart. 2. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave or double boiler. 3. One at a time, stick a wooden toothpick into a marshmallow, dip the marshmallow into the melted chocolate, and promptly center it atop a cookie. 4. Using a second toothpick to lightly hold down the marshmallow, carefully pull out the first toothpick. 5. Chill the hats until the chocolate sets, then pipe a yellow decorators' frosting buckle on the front of each hat.

Thanksgiving is almost here! So, I was looking around for something cute and easy to help keep your little ones busy while you're cooking. Here's a great fun easy project for kids from 3-15. These make great seat markers and are a great predinner activity! The older kids can help the younger ones. Give it a try it's fun!

Finger Stamp Place Cards

MATERIALS:
Card stock/Thick construction paper
Nontoxic stamp pads or kid friendly paint in brown, red, orange, and yellow
Glue
Googly eyes
Paint markers

1. For each bird, fold a piece of paper as shown (ours were roughly 3 by 4 inches). Set out nontoxic stamp pads or paint in brown, red, orange, and yellow. Using your thumb or index finger, stamp rings of yellow, orange, and red, and a brown turkey body. 2. Glue googly eyes in place, then use paint markers to draw on a beak, snood, and feet and to write a guest's name below the bird.

My oh my what a day! I have been working to find different resources to improve my tini blog, and it's definately been some hard work! A lot of my blankets are from Tres Coutoure, and the owner has just informed me on one of her newest additions. It is this beautiful diaper bag she has! I do have some good news on a deal for this perfect addition, we will discount it 25%!
At long last, a chic and functional diaper bag! Our signature diaper bag is made of upholstery quality fabrics and comes in 2 sizes. Please see our website for price and purchase information.

Here's a fun activity to do with your children, make some playdough! I found an oh so simple recipie that's easy and the kids can help! I unfortunately haven't been able to try it with Alexis yet, so I need any feedback you may have if you do indeed try it!

Ingredients
2 cups flour
1 cup salt
2 cups water
2 tbsp. of cooking oil
4 tsp. Cream of tartar food coloring
Cook ingredients in sauce pan until stiff and lumpy. Dump out onto waxed paper. Knead until it reaches playdough consistency.

Thanks for visiting!
